Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill is considering a move to make £10million-rated goalkeeper Scott Carson's loan from Liverpool permanent.
Carson has become the new No 1 at Villa, with rival Thomas Sorensen fighting for a place on the bench.
O'Neill said: "A loan can always be with a view to a permanent deal."
