Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is reviving his January bid for Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.

The Mirror says O'Neill tried to sign Wright-Phillips on loan back in January and has returned for the England winger after Chelsea admitted he can leave for £10million.

O'Neill has yet to spend any of Randy Lerner's cash this summer and will offer Wright-Phillips £45,000 a week. O'Neill is inching closer to a deal with West Ham for midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker.
