David Villa has told Cesc Fabregas to pour his energies into Arsenal this season - and then join him at Barcelona next year. The former Valencia ace is excited about his move to Barca and says Cesc shouldn't feel frustrated that he has missed out on a return to Nou Camp.
"What I'd say to him is to do what I did: concentrate on your club and give everything for your team," said Villa. "Football does not stop here and, after all, sooner or later he'll end up playing for Barça.
"What he should do is keep showing the great form he has been doing for the next season. He will have this opportunity again next year.
"But while he is with Arsenal, just play as well as he can."
Villa added: "It is annoying because we wanted to have him here because he is a friend and a great player. But mostly it's annoying because he's a great kid.
"I'm sure he'll have another chance and end up wearing the Barça shirt."
