Marian Kello has left Heart of Midlothian, clearing a path for a potential move to Aston Villa.
The 29-year old Slovakian goalkeeper has negotiated an immediate release from Tynecastle but a statement released through his solicitor suggests it was an amicable split.
"I will always value my time at the club and wish them all the very best for the rest of the season.""I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Tynecastle and would like to take this opportunity to thank my team-mates and the Hearts supporters who have always made me feel so welcome," read Kello's statement.
Kello, who was set to come out of contract at the end of the season, joined Hearts from FBK Kaunas permanently in 2010 after initially arriving on loan in 2008 and is now being linked with a move to Villa.
