LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane is set to train with Tottenham this month.
Keane is a loan target for Aston Villa, but will return to Spurs to stay in shape ahead of the MLS preseason.
Keane will train with Spurs until January 20 to build up his fitness ahead of the new MLS campaign.
Keane's Galaxy team-mate Landon Donovan has already returned to the Premier League on a similar deal with Everton, while Arsenal are close to bringing Thierry Henry back to the club.
