Aston Villa are swooping for Real Sociedad prospect Unai Manso.
Spanish media sources say Villa have made the 15 year-old a long-term contract offer.
A newspaper in the Basque region where Sociedad are based claims that Villa scouts spotted Manso while he was competing in the Nike Cup last summer in Milan.
Manso reportedly visited Villa Park over Christmas for a five day trial and was so impressive that Gerard Houllier's team have put together a contract in preparation for next year.
