Premier League clubs are on alert over Danilo D'Ambrosio's situation at Torino.
The Express & Star says Sunderland and Aston Villa target D'Ambrosio will not sign a new contract with Torino with his current one set to expire in the summer.
Villa boss Paul Lambert is keen on the defender.
