West Ham United's relegation is set to spark a transfer scramble for Demba Ba.
The Mirror says Aston Villa, Blackburn and Sunderland are all hunting striker Ba.
Villa are understood to be keen to pair Ba with England hitman Darren Bent, regardless of whether boss Gerard Houllier returns from his latest health scare or not.
Ba has scored five times in 11 appearances this season - including goals against Liverpool and Manchester City - to dispel doubts about his fitness.
He was signed in January from German club Hoffenheim for a nominal fee that could rise to £6million, should a number of clauses be met.
Of the three clubs in for him, Sunderland's need would appear to be greatest with Steve Bruce's squad desperate for reinforcements up front.
