Emile Heskey will only leave Aston Villa in a permanent deal.
The People says Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson thinks Heskey, his former England No.9, would be perfect to front a Foxes' promotion bid and he is in discussions over a loan move for the hitman.
But Heskey would only return to his first love if it is a permanent transfer.
Leicester's new owners think his capture would be one of the coups of the Championship season.
