Aston Villa striker John Carew will consider a permanent deal at Stoke City.
Carew, 31, is out of contract this summer and has been on loan at the Potters since January.
Carew said before last night's game against Manchester City: "My time at Villa is finished.
"I love Stoke, the fans are fantastic and the team spirit and banter in the changing room is world class.
"We'll have to see what happens at the end of the season. There's still a couple of games left and now is not the time to talk about contracts."
