Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke was delighted with his two-goal haul against Norwich City.
Benteke, who scored 19 league goals and 23 overall last season, now has nine in the top flight and one in all competitions taking his tally to 10.
"It's good," he said.
"I hope now I'm going to keep my level up until the end.
"I'm very happy because I scored, but it is not just about scoring. It's more important to take the three points because we started really badly to be honest.
"But after their goal we came back well into the game and played some great football.
"I think we showed some great character and everybody took responsibility."
