A return to Sunderland has been mooted for Darren Bent.
The Express & Star says Aston Villa striker Bent has been linked with a shock return to his former club Sunderland, who sold him to the claret and blues for £24million in 2011.
Bent is expected to be sold this month to fund Villa's transfer plans.
