Aston Villa striker Darren Bent says he's fully fit for preseason.

Bent missed the Euros for England due to injury.

He told Villa's website: "I'm 100 per cent now.

"I've probably been 100 per cent for a little while, but it's just about ironing out the final rusty bits of my game really - trying to sprint full pace and kicking with my left foot.

"It's all healed now and all ready to go.

"It's my first proper injury I've had in my career so, touch wood, I just want to have a solid injury free season and be right up there with the goals again."
