Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor is convinced they can complete a Premiership Double over Arsenal tonight.

The striker said: "Hopefully we can prove that beating them before wasn't a fluke and we can go out and do it again. We will be going into the game confident that we can get a result and that shows how far we have come.

"In the past, if a Villa side went to Arsenal's ground you wouldn't expect much. When I was coming up through the youth team I'd watch those games and we'd concede two or three goals.

"We used to be beaten quite easily against the top teams. But nowadays you look at our results and we look decent against them."

Arsenal have hit what for them looks to be a crisis but Agbonlahor has warned it would be dangerous for anyone to underestimate the threat they will always carry.

He added: "I don't think they're in crisis, but they're not doing as well as they have in previous seasons. But with the squad and the young players that they've got they've still got a chance."
