Aston Villa midfielder Gabby Agbonlahor wants Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton to apologise for their clash last week.

Agbonlahor chose not to take the incident to the FA, but said: "I wasn't very happy at the time. But Barton's had enough bad press so I decided to leave it.

"The club said they'd back me but I decided to let it drop. As far as I'm concerned it's all forgotten. It was last week so we'll just forget about it now.
