Agbonlahor has been encouraged by the talent on show among Paul Lambert's recruits.
"Someone like Matthew Lowton has just come in and looked as if he has played 30 or 40 games," said Agbonlahor.
"Ashley Westwood has come in to training and not looked out of place, he's done really well and not looked different to any other player in the squad.
"I think you can say that new boys lack Premier League experience, but they are going to get that, aren't they?
"Obviously when so many young players come in at first you wonder, but if you look at the way they have played they don't look shaded by the pressure."
