Despite another loss, Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill believes his side is still alive in the race for a top-four finish.
Villa were unlucky in defeat against league leaders Manchester United overnight, losing 3-2 after a late goal to youngster Federico Macheda but O'Neill insists they are not yet out of contention for European qualification.
"We showed plenty of attacking ability, as we have all season," said O'Neill on Setanta Sports News.
"We've come here, we've treated the crowd to the game, and we've been beaten.
"We should take a great deal out of this game, and we're not finished yet."
