Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert admits memory of the antics of Bradford City's matchday announcer is at the forefront of his mind going into the second-leg of their Capital One Cup semifinal.
The Scot reacted to reports that the stadium announcer at Valley Parade urged supporters of the west Yorkshire club to start booking their hotel rooms as emotions spilled over following the Bantams' 3-1 victory.
The tannoy announcer also mis-pronounced some of Lambert's players' names and reacted wildly to each of Bradford's three goals.
Lambert said: "Personally, I never heard him say it. But if he did, then it's disrespectful.
"You can't count your chickens. Football's got a great habit of kicking you where it hurts.
"And, if what you are telling me is right, that is disrespectful."
