Skysports.com reports that Australian starlet Shane Lowry could be offered a route back to the Premier League. The 22-year-old Aston Villa player is currently on loan at Millwall in the Championship, and has impressed boss Kenny Jackett.
However, Lowry - who has been called into Australia's full squad - has caught the eye of other Premier League clubs, who are now considering a move.
Both Blackburn Rovers and Wigan are looking to make their moves in the January transfer window.
