Aston Villa skipper Stiliyan Petrov is happy with the arrival of Jermaine Jenas on-loan from Tottenham.
Petrov has no problem with the midfield competition Jenas will provide.
"It is unfortunate that Jermaine has picked up an injury which has delayed his inclusion in the team because he looked very sharp in training," said Petrov.
"He looks determined to prove to everyone that he is good enough to play in the Premier League and I think he will be a great addition to the squad.
"So hopefully it will not be long until we see him on the pitch. Of course he is also a central midfielder but competition for places is good for the team.
"It means that we push each other and it is good for the team."
