Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov has dismissed suggestions of a January move to Sunderland.
The Bulgarian midfielder has recently been linked with a reunion with former Villa boss Martin O'Neill at the Stadium of Light but he insists he is very happy at Villa Park.
"When the transfer windows come there is speculation, but I'm a Villa player and every time I go out I play with all my heart.
"I don't have the intention to go. I want to stay. It's up to them if they want me but I'd love to stay and I'm enjoying it.""That came out from the blue and I'm very happy at Villa," said Petrov.
