Aston Villa are on the verge of agreeing new contracts with central defenders Olof Mellberg and Martin Laursen and striker Luke Moore.
The trio come to the end of their current deals next summer. Villa boss Martin O'Neill will hammer out the new contracts when the trio return from international duty.
Swedish international Mellberg, 30, and Danish international Laursen, 30, are set to sign three-year deals with England under-21 international striker Moore, 22, signing on for four years.
O'Neill said: "I want to get things sorted out soon and will be making big inroads into doing that over the next fortnight. "Olof has been very steady for us for a long time, Martin has got a heart the size of a lion and Luke is doing great."
