Villa's Young: Melbourne Victory's Muscat said he would break my legs

Aston Villa winger Ashley Young has revealed that Melbourne Victory captain Kevin Muscat once told him he would break his legs. Young, who is set for his first competitive start for the England national team against Montenegro on Tuesday, admits he is very nervous heading into the match which is the first time he has felt this way since he made his debut for Watford back in 2003 when Muscat was at Millwall.

"The only time I have been (nervous) was when I made my debut for Watford against Millwall in 2003," Young said.

"They had Kevin Muscat in the team and in the warm-up the first thing he said to me was 'don't go past me or I will break your legs!'

"I was 18 coming on for my first game so it wasn't the nicest thing to hear, but you just have to get on with it."
