Aston Villa winger Ashley Young will receive a £400,000 bonus if he turns down a move to Tottenham.
Spurs have been chasing the 25-year old for some time now but he stands to earn and extra £200,000 at each end of the season as a loyalty payment.
It is believed that Villa will open talks regarding a new contract with Young admitting he is keen to remain at Villa Park despite the likelihood of Tottenham again pursuing him in January.
"I have enjoyed every minute of it here," he said.
"I have enjoyed my time and I am looking forward to many years ahead."
