Villa’s Reo-Coker nearing return

Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker is expecting to be back soon so he can help prepare for the club’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on April 10.

The 25-year old has been out of action since early January with a stress fracture in his ankle but has been given the all-clear to re-commence training with the squad and a league return against Wolves next weekend seems a likely scenario.

This will give him three weeks to prepare for a shot at Wembley glory when Villa take on the Blues in the final-four match.
