Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill says he is pleased with the hard-fought 1-0 win over Hull City despite his team not playing to full potential.
A late own-goal gave Villa the points which was enough for O'Neill at the end of the day.
"We didn't play well tonight. The effort against Arsenal has really taken it out of us," O'Neill told Sky Sports 1.
"We struggle to create things and I'm absolutely delighted - but credit to Hull. These Premier League games are hard.
"We came with plenty of confidence but it didn't happen in the first half.
"It was a great win for us tonight. We just keeping putting pressure on the sides around us."
