Aston Villa defender Shane Lowry has joined Championship club Millwall on loan.
The 22-year old Australian, who has represented Republic of Ireland at youth level, will link up with the Lions until January 3 on an emergency loan deal.
Lowry joined Villa's senior squad in 2009 after spending about four years with the youth academy and his since had three other loan spells with Plymouth Argyle, Leeds United and Sheffield United.
Kenny Jackett's Millwall sit 20th in the 24-team Championship ahead of Saturday's short trip to Crystal Palace for which Lowry and fellow Villa loanee, Nathan Baker, will be available.
