Aston Villa defender Shane Lowry has had his loan deal at Millwall extended by a month.
The 22-year old Australian joined the Lions on loan in November and was due to return to Villa today but after doing well in seven appearances, the Championship club have moved to keep him at the New Den until the end of January.
Lowry comes out of contract at Villa at the end of the season and will be looking to put his best foot forward for Millwall in order to win a new deal at his parent club or elsewhere.
