Villa's Holman confident El Ahmadi will fit in well

Aston Villa midfielder Brett Holman is supremely confident that his new teammate Karim El Ahmadi will be a hit at the club.

The Australian international officially became a Villa player in July and has been joined by the Moroccan who departed Dutch club Feyenoord to make his way to the West Midlands.

El Ahmadi arrived at Feyenoord when Holman left for NEC Nijmegen in 2006 with the Socceroos ace well-versed to comment on the talents of the 27-year old.

"I've played against him quite a few times in Holland and you can see what sort of player he is if you study the footage," the former AZ Alkmaar star told Villa's official website.

"He stands out in the teams he's played at. He played at FC Twente and also Feyenoord.

"When he was at Twente he was one of the up-and-coming midfield players who was very highly thought of and was tipped to make it big."
