Aston Villa defender James Collins is closing in on a summer move to West Ham United according to Goal.com.
The 28-year old Welsh centre-back has been granted permission to hold talks with the Hammers with a return to Upton Park now extremely likely.
Collin, who has a year to run on his Villa contract, will hold talks with West Ham officials today regarding personal terms before the East Londoners and Villa come to terms over a transfer fee believed to be worth around £4million.
