Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has accepted that defender Martin Laursen may miss the rest of the season. The Dane has been sidelined since January after picking up a serious knee injury and now looks unlikely to feature in any of Villa's remaining eight games.

O'Neill told the Birmingham Mail, "He is still not properly fit. Will he play again this season? I don't know. I don't know precisely. I think it will be....I don't know."
