Barcelona striker David Villa was happy to rescue a point in their draw with Champions League opponents Rubin Kazan. Barca escaped Russia with a 1-1 draw thanks to Villa's effort.

"It was very difficult," he said, "They closed down at the back very well, following the lead of the two games last season, and we had a hard time creating chances.

"If we had scored first, the game would have been very different."
