Aston Villa's players are confident manager Martin O'Neill won't be lured into taking the England job, says defender Zat Knight.
"Hearing that gives us more togetherness. It's going well here and if he'd left and someone else had come in, it would have been tough - particularly for me as he signed me!
"He's trying to build a young squad here that can grow together and things are looking good.
"The gaffer has been successful everywhere he's gone without spending that much money. It's no surprise that he's linked with the top job.
"There's a lot of belief in the squad and the manager has belief in us. He tells us to go out and enjoy the game. When we're not playing well he shouts at us. He does shout - I wouldn't say he's intimidating but he knows how to get his point across.
"There are no tea cups thrown, though."
