Aston Villa are planning a £5 million bid for Valencia fullback Miguel.
The Mirror says Villa boss Martin O'Neill, who is losing Olof Mellberg to Juventus, has now switched his attentions to Portugal ace Miguel, 28, after failing with a £6 million offer for Porto's Jose Bosingwa.
