Aston Villa will bid for Sevilla wing-back Jose Luis Crespo at the end of the season.

AS says Villa representatives have sounded out Crespo's agents about a move to England next term, despite the Spain U21 star penning a new deal last month through to 2011.

Crespo's buyout clause is £10 million and he first came to Villa's attention at the U20 World Championships last year in Canada.
