Aston Villa have been buoyed by the fact that Jermaine Jenas and Alan Hutton were back in training today.
Jenas has yet to make an appearance for Villa since his loan move from Tottenham whilst Hutton was in doubt after receiving seven stitches in a facial injury sustained in a collision with teammate Charles N'Zogbia last weekend.
But the duo are believed to be available for selection for Villa's trip to Sunderland leaving manager Alex McLeish with an almost entire squad to choose from apart from the injured Eric Lichaj and Barry Bannan who has been suspended following a drink-driving incident which occurred on Sunday.
