Aston Villa should name their new manager next week.
The Sun says Randy Lerner has flown back to the United States confident he will unveil Aston Villa's new manager next week.
And it appears Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still in the driving seat after holding talks in the Midlands yesterday.
The former Manchester United striker, who is currently manager of Norwegian side Molde, was whisked into the country by Lerner's private jet and spent four hours with the Villa owner and the club's chief executive Paul Faulkner.
Sources say Solskjaer impressed the pair but Villa are in no rush to rule out anyone on their shortlist and Lerner will take a few days to weigh up his options.
