Aston Villa's outcasts have dubbed themselves the Bomb Squad.

Shay Given, Alan Hutton, Stephen Ireland, Barry Bannan and Darren Bent are among the stars currently out in the cold.

One of the forgotten men told The Sun: "We've been calling ourselves the Bomb Squad.

"We're waiting to see if Christian (Benteke) becomes our newest member."
