Aston Villa will have to take a big loss on any January sale of striker Darren Bent.

The Sun says the £24million man did not even make the bench for the last two games against Arsenal and Reading. And he looks set to miss out at QPR today.

QPR, Fulham, Stoke City and Liverpool are all monitoring Bent's situation.

Bent could go for a cut-price £10million.
