Aston Villa must up their bid if they want to land Standard Liege midfielder Steven Defour.

Villa are competing with Arsenal for the young Belgium international ahead of the January market and have indicated they're willing to pay £8 million.

But Defour's agent, Paul Stefani, insists that won't be enough to convince Standard to sell.
