Premiership clubs are circling for Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

Robinson is on his way out of Spurs after they signed keeper Heurelho Gomes from PSV Eindhoven.

An £8million fee - including left-back Young-Pyo Lee - has been agreed for Brazilian Gomes, 27, but he has yet to agree personal terms or complete a medical.

Now Aston Villa and Manchester City are set to battle it out for England keeper Robinson, 28.
