Villa kid Bannan in hot water at Blackpool

Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan has been axed at Blackpool.

The Times says Ian Holloway has dropped Neal Eardley, Bannan and Ishmel Demontagnac from the Blackpool squad for the Coca-Cola Championship match away to Sheffield Wednesday tonight after they were spotted in a nightclub on Saturday.

“The three of them went out dancing on Saturday night [after the 2-1 home defeat by Leicester City], which I ain’t happy with,” the manager said.
