Victory over Plymouth at the weekend took Blackpool up to seventh place and within four points of the play-offs.
"I've loved every minute of it," Bannan told Villa's website. "We have been doing well and are just outside the play-offs, so we are going to try and get in there and hopefully get up to the Premier League.
"I broke my toe and it took longer to heal because it was a fracture to the joint as well. So it took longer than expected but it is alright now.
"I got injured in the game against Leicester. I got taken off at half-time after I felt it go and I found out afterwards it was broken.
"So I've been back at Villa for four weeks getting treatment.
"That goal against Coventry was one of my good moments up there. I enjoyed that moment and it was brilliant.
"There are about nine games left now so hopefully I can feature in those and finish the season off on a high."
