Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan is convinced they'll beat the drop.

Guzan was again superb in defeat to Manchester City last night.

"I think we will be okay. We know the situation we are in but it is time to stand up and be counted.

"A lot has been said about the young players here. But I know what is in front of me and I'm pretty happy with what I've got.

"I see the quality day in and day out and the ability in the side is not in question."
