Aston Villa's stand-in No1 Brad Guzan insists he has no regrets over his move to Villa Park.
Four years ago he turned his back on a £2million move to Celtic, where regular Champions League football and trophies beckoned.
He revealed to The Sun: "I try to live my life with no regrets. The opportunity to come to the Premier League with Aston Villa was quite exciting.
"Maybe things haven't gone according to plan but that's part of life as a goalkeeper.
"If you're a midfielder, winger or striker, a manager can get you on to the pitch somewhere. But there's only one goalkeeper so there's little scope when someone else is doing well.
"Luckily, I now have a chance to prove to everyone I can play. It's a shame it's come about because Shay was injured as we have a really good relationship."
