Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan has hailed the man-management of Paul Lambert.

Guzan stresses that one of the reasons why he has so much respect for the manager is because he treats the players as real men at all times.

He told Villa's website: "The gaffer has been brilliant. He's been very clear in terms of our identity and how he wants us to play and how we need to go forward as a club.

"He has been really supportive of his players all season in terms of getting behind us.

"When you have that, it creates solidarity in camp and we are in for exciting times, I believe.

"I think that's starting to show.

"Yes there will be high times. Yes there will be low times. But the way we are going and with the support - the direction we are being pushed in - there are so many positives."
