Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given is eyeing a dream move to Celtic.

The Mirror says Villa will let veteran keeper Given go out on loan next season - with Celtic keen on bringing the Republic of Ireland star 'home'.

Given, 37, lost his number one status to Brad Guzan after new manager Paul Lambert arrived last summer.

Now, the Birmingham outfit will let him leave for some late-career action and to get one of their top earners off the wage bill.
