Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given has joined Middlesbrough on a one-month loan.
The 37-year old former Republic of Ireland international has been brought in by Boro boss Aitor Karanka to fill the void left by Jason Steele's three-match suspension.
Given, who is Villa's number three behind Brad Guzan and Jed Steer, will go into the Boro squad for this weekend's meeting with Bolton.
