Villa keeper Friedel takes aim at Tottenham fans taunts
Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel has taken a swipe at Tottenham fans after Saturday's 0-0 draw.
Spurs have dropped points at home to Stoke, Wolves and Hull this season and their fans have turned on Harry Redknapp's team - but this time they accused Villa of being "boring".
In truth, Spurs simply could not find a way past Richard Dunne and James Collins - and when they did Friedel was at his dependable best.
The only surprise was Redknapp keeping Eidur Gudjohnsen on the bench, rather than bringing his new signing on to support Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe.
"It's funny because a lot of their attacks came from long balls up to Crouchy, who headed it down to Defoe," Friedel added. "So I'm not quite sure where they (Spurs fans) are coming from."

Long ball only sometimes did we hit the long ball to try and break Villa down as they had 11 men behind the ball for 90 mins, When we drew at Villa Park we gave you a footballing lesson outplayed you all game, well in both games it's the only thing I will agree with Gooner fans borning borning Villa
Spurs long ball football?!?!?!? Spurs boring?!?!?!?!? Spurs are playing the most attractive and entertaining attacking football in the whole league noobs!!!
Bitter Spurs fans, look at your own results before calling us boring. One result doesn't make a team boring, you should be telling that to wolves, stoke and the like... teams Villa have beaten with attacking football... believe it or not.
