Aston Villa are keeping tabs on Glen Johnson's situation at Chelsea.

The England international impressed on-loan at Portsmouth last season, but has struggled on his return to Stamford Bridge and could become available should Chelsea's bid for Sevilla right-back Daniel Alves prove successful.
